I took my car in because I was experiencing a rattle. I asked the technician to treat my car as if it was their own child driving it. They got approval to do some diagnostics and said it would not be worth fixing and it was time to buy a new car. They very easily could have suggested I fix it thus spending more money with them, but I appreciate the honesty.
